The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recently reported that in 2006, 68% of drivers and passengers ages 16 to 20 who where killed in nighttime car crashes were unbuckled. Compared to 57% of the young drivers and passengers killed in automobile accidents during the day. Based on these statistics, the NHTSA intends to continue their Click it or Ticket campaign.
