The Pea Pod Travel Crib manufactured by KidCo Inc. has possible links to the death of a 5-month-old New York City baby, and the Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a voluntary recall of 220,000 of the travel beds.

The Consumer Product Safety commission has determined that an infant could roll between the bed's air mattress and the tent's fabric, causing a suffocation risk.

It is believed that the infant who died suffocated in this manner, when he was placed in the travel crib with his twin sister for a nap.

KidCo is offering repair kits to prevent the suffocation risk.

Sheller, P.C. is investigating injuries related to risks related to the travel crib. If your baby or the baby of someone you know has suffered injury or death due in a KidCo travel crib, please call us at 1-800-833-2299 to discuss your legal rights. Visit our Web site at www.sheller.com.
